On 1979, Britt Allcroft, a British writer/producer brought the stories to life as the TV series Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. This TV show was acclimated worldwide. Nowadays Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends have transcended from books to TV shows to movies and most importantly to to children's hearts.
