The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, also known as Ninja Turtles, are anthropomorphic turtle superheroes. This is a fictional team of four anthropomorphic teenage turtles. They were trained by their sensei, an anthropomorphic rat, in the art of Ninjutsu. They battle criminals, other mutated animals, and even alien invaders at the same time of attempting to remain remote from society. Donatello who wears the purple mask is the scientist, inventor, engineer, and technological genius of the group, and uses a bo staff as his weapon of choice. Donatello prefers to use his knowledge to solve conflicts, which makes him the least violent turtle. Yet, he never hesitates to defend his brothers.
