In 1951, the world of television as we know it completely changed when I love Lucy came out she co-starred with her husband at the time Desi Arnaz who was known as Ricky Ricardo in the hit television show. The two had eloped in 1940. At the age of nearly forty years old Lucy gave birth to Lucie Desiree Arnaz and a year and a half later gave birth to their son Desiderio Alberto Arnaz IV. Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz divorced on May 4, 1960 after being married for 20 years, she had suspicions that he was cheating on her and he has a drinking problem and was always womanizing.
