Dead Men Tell No Tales Costumes: Maintaining the Consistent Magic of Pirates
Dead men may not tell any tales, but the tale of the dead men in the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie was a visual masterpiece; you'll see the after effects of this at every themed party event this year when people will show up dressed Dead Men Tell No Tales Costumes in an immense number. It has been a while since Jack Sparrow was introduced on the big screen and surprisingly, we still want more and more of that witty freak. His charm never fails to impress, even after five movies. But let's keep Jack for last and talk about other characters and how the costume market is going to be influenced by these new or old characters in the franchise.

There is no doubt about it, that Captain Jack Sparrow is the coolest pirate of all time, and we'll be seeing of a lot of Jack(s) at every themed party event. But he wasn't something Dead Men Tell No Tales was about. There were a lot of other characters which were lovable enough that people would want to be disguised as them. We explored new characters and we were introduced to a whole new side of Captain Barbosa's character which was very intriguing; it came to light that Barbosa wasn't who he appeared to be all along. He, in fact, was a father of a daughter he let go so she can have a better life, which he thought he couldn't give her. We all loved Barbosa before too, but for different reasons. Now we have more new reasons to add to that list. I personally feel that this new change in his character will result in people wanting to buy that awesome Barbosa costume and rock like the one eyed seafarer.

As I said, there were a lot of new characters, and there was so much more to each of them. Now, let's talk about Barbosa's daughter, Carina's character, which was surprisingly was very well built. I loved how you could totally tell that she's Barbosa's daughter because she totally had his traits and some unique features which distinguished her from everyone else. She probably is the most awesome female character in the history of POTC series along side the beautiful and sexy Captain Elizabeth Swann. I understand how badly the lady fans of POCT series wanted a new character they can disguise themselves as. Cheer up, ladies! You finally have one. Carina was the perfect combination of beauty and brains as she led the whole crew towards the Trident of Poseidon alone. How could anyone not be in love with her after that?

The next new character which I found worth addressing was Will and Elizabeth's only son: Henry Turner, who was trying his best to find a way to free his father from a curse that's stopping them from being together. It was a really emotional touch on the storyline, and that's the reason why it paid off in the end when Will finally reunited with his son. He looks like any badass Pirates's soon would look: so very cool. He was charming (a little less than Jack, obviously), and terribly brave. But his attire is honestly a very simple one, and that's what makes him divergent from other POTC characters. The simplicity of his look can be a splendid reason for people to want to have it; especially for young men and boys.

Now comes the time for the bad and evil guys out there. Wait wait, I'm just kidding, I'm only talking about people who want to be disguised as a villain because let's face it, there are no heroes without villains. Good thing is, Dead Men Tell No Tales had a great villain. Armando Salazar, I'd argue was as good as Davy Jones, maybe even better, some people would say. He wasn't a pirate exactly, but he had every good(or bad) element to be a perfect villain for this movie. His costume was designed keeping in mind how an evil villain should actually look, and it perfectly works in the context of the movie. His dark and shabby uniform and rusty sword complement the idea of him being "undead." which the title of the Dead Men Tell No Tales is about. And as a costume, Salazar's costume is going to be a complete package, and you should not forget about adding it to your list, at all.

Now, at last, comes the time for Captain Jack Sparrow: The Coolest Pirate of All Time, undoubtedly. I bet you will not deny the fact that Jack Sparrow's costumes are still going to be the most popular among all the POTC fans, and they totally have a reason to love it as much as they do. He literally did the same thing he has always done in the previous four movies--dressed up in his spectacular pirate costume, throwing humorous one-liners from his mouth--and I still loved it as much as the previous times. You gotta admit, we can't have enough of him. Not now, not ever. Maintaining that consistency with a character for five movies, and constantly improving his costume every time is no easy job to do; but Disney somehow always pulls it off. I wonder if we would love Jack as much as we do if he wasn't a Pirate? I guess not. His Pirate costume is what creates the unique element of his character. It is what makes us love him even more, because witty and charming characters are no victim to insufficiency these days in movies and TV shows.

There were other small scale but really compelling characters we came across. Jack's ship crew for example, which you can totally look forward to disguising yourself as, just for the sake of not falling in the area of "mainstream." But here's the thing, we still haven't gotten to an era where Pirate Costumes are totally mainstream, and we probably never will. That's the kind of magic POTC franchise has spread across the entire world, especially in the world of costume and disguises. Besides, you always have the option to make your own pirate costume. Wonder Costumes offers plenty of accessories and costumes which you can make into your own brand new costume, which is great because you get to be a pirate while maintaining your individuality. You can literally be the own pirate version of yourself, and nothing can be better than that, trust me.
