Men's Costumes To Look Out For This Halloween!
The year 2018, which still hasn't ended yet, is already filled with some of the craziest blockbuster films to be released with Avengers: Infinity War, Incredibles 2, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Deadpool 2, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and a whole lot more! With the release of all these films, costume companies have been hitting the drawing boards to produce plenty of costumes following a variety of different characters from movies, T.V shows, and even famous celebrities or politicians that have trended widely in both the entertainment world and with the general public. It's certain that we're in to see some fun and creative men's costumes on Halloween night and here's a few that may surely draw some attention!
Black Panther
Black Panther's costume will, without a doubt, be seen multiple times on Halloween night as Black Panther is one of the superhero films that has long been speculated to shake up the box office astonishingly this year. The reason for this is because Black Panther introduced a much different perspective to superheroes as it became the first modern film to put an African-American as a lead role in a superhero film. Not just this, but Black Panther was a culturally beautiful film, bringing different concepts of African culture to the big screen and even portrayed many societal issues through the main antagonist. Black Panther's costume is going to amazingly stand out on Halloween night!
Han Solo
In May, Solo: A Star Wars Story hit theaters following the story of the epic and loved space cowboy, Han Solo! Solo: A Star Wars introduced a different look to the Star Wars universe and answered many of the questions that have built up about Han Solo ever since A New Hope in 1977. With the release of this film, many big Star Wars fans may be getting their blasters ready to dress up in the black boots and a black vest to create Han Solo's costume and go out on Halloween night to stir up some galactic mischief!
Spiderman
Spider-Man's costume will always make an appearance night and even on nights where it's not Halloween. You can never go wrong with your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and after the release of Avengers: Infinity War, Spider-Man's costume will be one of the top trending costumes of the year. The teenaged web-slinger, who went up against the most powerful being in the universe on-screen, is being brought back in October by Marvel fans all-around!
Lando Calrissian
Another major highlight from Solo: A Star Wars Story is Lando Calrissian's appearance! The revival of this Star Wars classic, who was perfectly portrayed by Donald Glover (best known as "Childish Gambino"), sent Star Wars fans through the roof. Lando Calrissian's costume, which includes a stylish cape to go with it, could be a perfect combination with anyone dressed up as Han Solo. The gambler that lost the famed Millennium Falcon to Han Solo should be seen on Halloween night and gain some attention with some elegant space fashion!
Thor
Even though he doesn't have his iconic hammer anymore after the events that took place in Thor: Ragnarok, rocking the classic Thor costume with the long hair, red cape, and Mjölnir is still up there as an amazing costume idea for Halloween. This Norse god and Avenger showed up in Avengers: Infinity War ready to take down the biggest threat he's ever faced and avenge his people with a new powerful battle-ax in his hand. His reappearance towards the end of the film lit up the whole theater as fans hopped out of their seat with excitement. Marvel fans will be looking bring the thunder and lightning on Halloween night with Thor's costume!
Thanos
The biggest topic after April was the full powerful appearance of the long-awaited villain the Avengers were never prepared to face. Thanos was first teased in the first Avengers film and after the post-credit scene, every big Marvel knew what was to come. After 2012 and every little cameo Thanos has been a part of throughout Marvel's phases has been hyping up fans for more than six years. It was finally in Avengers: Infinity War when Thanos collected every infinity stone and wreaked havoc throughout half of the universe. With Infinity War still being greatly discussed, we'll get a fair share of infinity gauntlets and Thanos' costumes on Halloween night!
Ant-Man
Avengers: Infinity and Black Panther weren't the only Marvel films to come out in 2018 as we got to see the continuation of Ant-Man's story on-screen after the events of Captain America: Civil War. While this film didn't gain as much attention, Ant-Man still prevails as an Avenger that will be substantial to the next major Marvel installment next year. Ant-Man's costume is still going to be around for Halloween if you would even be able to spot him out amongst the other insects of the night.
Rick from Rick and Morty
Why would Rick's costume from Rick and Morty be trending amongst other costumes on Halloween? Not simply because the show is already massive in popularity but also because of the large phenomena this year when Mcdonald's revived their famed Szechuan sauce that was trending intensely. Mcdonald's brought it back for a limited time to please Rick and Morty fans but it's now officially back on the sauce menu. You can expect to see fans in Rick's costume running around with their own Morty on Halloween night screaming "wubba lubba dub dub!"
Chewbacca
If we're going to see Han Solo's costume on Halloween night, it would be completely unjustifiable without having someone dress up in Chewbacca's costume to go along with it. This dynamic duo cannot be split and are incomplete if they're unaccompanied by each other, both on-screen and in-person. Chewbacca's costume is always fun to see on Halloween night for everyone, you can't see someone in a good Chewbacca costume walk around freely without people with their kids asking to take a silly photo!
Starlord
Even though Star-Lord isn't exactly everyone's favorite Marvel character right now, due to the events that took place in Avengers: Infinity War, this Guardian of the Galaxy will still come back from the dust and make an appearance on Halloween night. If there's someone with a comedic personality such as his and has a huge love for classic hits, Star-Lord's costume is definitely enjoyable to go trick-or-treating or to Halloween party with.
Donald Trump
The current political environment is heated right now but there's always someone on Halloween to have a bit of fun with politics by dressing up as a famous politician. This can either go two ways, people will either enjoy it or become really spiteful and bash it, but let's just hope that everyone is in a good mood on Halloween night. A costume of Donald Trump, without a single doubt, will be seen roaming around on Halloween, possibly chilling with Putin or getting in a "huge" argument with Kim Jong Un.
Mr. Incredible
With the release of the long-awaited Incredibles 2 film, Mr. Incredible's costume and the Incredibles, in general, is going to be a favorited theme for Halloween night. The super-strengthed superhero made a comeback on-screen and will make an even bigger comeback in October! This bright red costume is going to be the symbol of stopping crime and protecting civilians.
Deadpool
The Merc with the mouth made his return to the big screen in May of this year and it was even better than ever. After the amazing feedback from the first Deadpool, 20th Century Fox had no choice but to listen to the fan's desires and produce a second one. Even though no one was expecting to complete top the first which is exactly what it did. Deadpool's costume is going to be an absolute delight to see on Halloween especially if he crosses paths with Spider-Man or any other superheroes!
Go out and have some costume fun this year!
