Budget-Friendly Women Costumes That Are Under $30
It's already October and the weather is getting a little crispier. It's honestly my favorite time of the year. Now, I've never really been good at saving up exorbitant amounts of money to buy a Halloween costume. I blame Chipotle. Luckily, there are so many costumes that you can get for the low-low that's not DIY. I figured making a post for all the ballers on a budget would be good because I've been there. Hope you have fun scrolling through these budget-friendly women costumes! The costumes on this list are based off of Wonder Costumes' curent prices and are all less than $30. 5. Yabba Dabba Doo!
I used to watch The Flintstones religiously when I was younger so, seeing this costume and picking it was a no brainer. Everyone loves major throwbacks to their childhood, so don't be surprised by all the compliments you're sure to receive. Oh, and this outfit includes the dress, the belt, and the wig. Talk about a major steal.
4. Arrr, Be A Pirate?
Pirates have never really gone out of style and one could thank all the installments for Pirates of The Caribbean. There's actually another one coming out soon. If Johnny Depp weren't Captain Jack Sparrow, I'd petition to end the lunacy. This costume doesn't include the sword, but it's not 100% necessary. However, if you really want a weapon accessory, check out your local dollar store or Walmart for a toy sword. You could even browse around Wonder Costumes' site.
3. Shine Bright Like a Diamond Ladybug?
I'm not really sure why a ladybug would be lit up instead of a firefly, but I love the costume so, who cares (maybe entomologists). This is definitely a budget-friendly Halloween costume that will make people think you spent a lot more than you did. My fave thing is that this costume comes with batteries. I don't know about you, but there have been too many times where I'm super excited to use something and realize it didn't come with batteries. Cue montage of me running to the store (and the weather is usually abysmal) trying to get batteries for something I have begun to hate.
2. Princess of Persia
This is another officially licensed outfit for those of you who don't have too much to spend this Halloween, but don't like knock-offs. The outfit comes with everything pictured except for the necklace. The sheer harem pants are so pretty and the tiara/crown is very interesting. I'm having issues trying to decide what to be for Halloween and this list is not helping me in the slightest. I keep adding more outfit options.
1 . Fairy Fun
Love, love, love Disney. I might have a slight obsession, but I'm happy with it. Sadly, this is not officially licensed BUT it's such a good knock-off, most people wouldn't be able to tell. This ensemble comes with everything except the shoes which really makes it a budget-friendly. All you have to do is curl your hair and get some gold shoes. Honestly, you should already have a pair because they are a must-have for any closet. The wings are gorgeous and the little pouch can be handy. Or, and hear me out, fill the pouch with glitter and make the world around you a little more sparkly. You could also sprinkle it on rude people and say "here's some shine to help counter your obviously sucky pesonality". P.S., if someone gets angry, I did not give you that idea.
Much love and have a Happy Halloween, guys - Surya.
