How will Anna and Elsa's Costumes look in Frozen 2?
It doesn't seem it was that long ago when in 2013 the world of little girls (and their parents) was taken by storm with the release of one of the biggest animated Disney films ever produced, "Frozen." The film grossed over $1 billion at the box office and its iconic song, 'Let it Go', made a big mark in the world of music. The song was a hit all around the world and became a huge credit to the film's success. It's been six years since the first film was released and fans have been longing the return of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff. Well, the anticipation is over and Disney has just announced the release of "Frozen 2" for November 22, 2019, with a trailer that gives us a glimpse of how Anna and Elsa's costumes look in Frozen 2.
Considering the fact that it's been six years since the first film, it's no surprise that we're going to see a couple of changes applied to these two iconic characters. In Frozen's short animations that were released after the original film such as "Frozen Fever" and "Olaf's Frozen Adventure," we saw a difference in the outfits that Anna and Elsa wore. These Disney Frozen costumes were also featured in the merchandise that was released for the animations. The Disney's Elsa and Anna's merchandise especially, was a major hit for the first film with little girls donning Elsa's Disney costume or Anna's Disney costume for birthday parties and Halloween. Since the release of the first Frozen, WonderCostumes.com became the best go-to shop on the web to find Frozen's Disney costumes and outfits and we haven't stopped since! It's going to be interesting to see if Disney will top their merchandise success with the newest outfits in Frozen 2. With that being said, let's take a look at Anna and Elsa's new outfits in Frozen 2!
Elsa, the true Ice Queen!
The Queen of Arendelle! Elsa's costume follows a similar concept to her costume in the first film but with a cleaner touch. Also confirmed is that Elsa keeps her classic hairdo, revealed in its full glory. Interestingly enough from the trailer and Elsa's costume design, it appears that she's ready and/or preparing herself for a major challenge coming her way. Elsa's new costume in Frozen 2 will surely be a hit once her merchandise hits the shelves. The royal snowflake design that's complemented with the cape gives a more mature, serious tone for Queen Elsa Costume. This Fall, look for the new Frozen Elsa's Disney costume at wondercostumes.com!
The first half of the trailer featured an intense scene of Elsa battling strong waves with her abilities. There's plenty of speculation as to why she was testing her powers but it was clear that something huge is on its way.
Anna, The Fearless Princess!
Princess Anna of Arendelle's fearless and optimistic personality was clear from the first film with her passionate determination to save her sister. Anna's costume in Frozen 2, same as Elsa, is designed to be more complex when compared to her first Frozen Disney costume. The shades on Anna's costume are darker and her hairdo is completely different. Instead of having the two fishtail braids, Anna has her hair completely down. In the trailer, it shows that whatever Elsa is preparing for, Anna is also going up against side-by-side with her sister, so it's no surprise the two sister's Frozen costumes will show they're ready for a fight.
There's a whole lot that's being anticipated from the new Disney Frozen film! The look of Frozen 2, compared to the first film, are almost complete opposites from light and fanciful to an unexpected dark tone as shown on the trailer that shocked many fans showed that Queen Elsa, alongside her sister and friends, is going on a major adventure that fans will get to see take place on-screen this Fall!
So much is currently being questioned about the film's storyline, such as, what the future for past characters will be? The film also opens theories about the new character revealed in the trailer. Patience! All the answers to these fan's questions will become clear with the release of the film, so get ready for Frozen 2 coming to theaters on November 22, 2019!
