5 Budget Friendly Men's Costumes That Won't Break the Bank
So, I was trying to think of something "manly" to start off this post and the only thing that came to mind was the Two and a Half Men theme song. Not really sure if that's super manly, but oh well, let's go with it. Anyways, this post is all about budget-friendly men's costumes because Halloween is not cheap. I just graduated from Florida State (Go 'Noles), so I know the college budget struggles. Now that I have more one on one experience with costumes, I can tell you that saving money is all about vendor choices. This list is based off of Wonder Costumes' current prices and are all under $30. Check out my author page for links to budget-friendly costume posts for women and kids. Now, let's get into some budget-friendly men costumes.
5. Does somebody need a doctor?
Okay, I know it's super cliché, BUT the price is great and the costume is super chill. Nothing too crazy for those of you who hate dressing up for Halloween. One could also walk around a local hospital barking orders like "get my patient a pudding, stat!" If you get caught, you don't know me or this post.
4. Robbin Hood
This costume is adorable in a sexy way. It takes a spin on the usual "knight in shining armor" and allows you to whisk your lady to safety (or a party) with a feathered hat. Plus, think of all the things you could hide in the quiver: alcohol, chips, cookies, a puppy; the possibilities are endless!
3. Stewie Griffin
Give me a second, I'm still laughing at how great this costume is. Stewie is definitely one of the best characters on Family Guy and 100% the smartest, even though he's just a toddler. You can make jokes about Peter Griffin while carrying around a teddy bear. Plus, muttering world domination theories would be completely in character. You can finally figure out if your plans have potential without getting weird looks.
2. Alien Space Soldier Thing
Okay, I'll be honest with you guys, I have no idea who or what "Operation Rapid Strike - Red Sector" is. I googled it and I'm thinking it's a video game? What I do know is how awesome this costume looks and how budget-friendly it is. If you don't know where this costume hails from, don't worry. Halloween is a great time to make stuff up. I mean this costume could totally pass for a super unknown comic book character that only true readers would know. Side note: I also don't read comics so, I was unable to come up with a name, please forgive me.
1. Your Excuse to Drink Beer All Night Long
One of my life dreams is to go to Oktoberfest. I love the costumes and it looks like a ton of fun. Wonder Costumes adds a scary twist to this traditional outfit by making it a zombie edition. I'm not really sure how a zombie would react to alcohol. I mean, they're already pretty impaired with the whole being dead thing. However, one could add some food coloring to the beer to make it look like blood and put ice cube eye balls to scare away children. That'll keep them from asking to play games on your phone. Now, I don't really know if you'll be seeing any children, but life can be weird sometimes.
